England Seal Quarter-Final Spot With French Victory Before this World Cup began, England coach Shaun Wane pledged that all 24 players in his squad would get a chance to play. Scratchy perfromance at times, some poor defense and defenisve reads will annoy Wane no end and a few too many miracle plays leading nowhere. Not many of the players who came in did enough to suggest they will displace anyone I think. Thought the ref did his best for France - how many set restarts did he give them especially second half.

Will need to improve against the better teams on that performance.

Oledzki could be in trouble, the tackle he was put on report for did not look great - wouldn't be surpirsed if he got a ban for it.
