You say "Won" the rights, I believe they're the parent company of the Latics owners. So just a way for Latics to manipulate Financial Fair Play.

I’ve been frustrated with some of the BS from these new Latics owners as a guy who wants both clubs to work as closely together as possible but the naming of the stadium matters very little. It had a crap name before and it’ll have a crap name after.
