Stoked to hear that Wigan triumphed over their old rivals in a gutsy CC semi. As an Aussie, I haven't been able to catch the game yet - have to wait til it posts on WiganTV. Can't wait to see it in full. With this result and the similarly gusty and unprecedented win for Parramatta over Penrith on Friday night, it's been a classic weekend so far for RL!

I thought I read that the semi-finals were going to be broadcast live in Australia?

Congrats on a great game yesterday, I'll be interested to see what sort of teams are fielded on Thursday, I'd imagine both teams will want to play their cards close to their chests

Hi moto748. As far as I know, the game was not broadcast via Kayo or Foxtel. Challenge Cup fixtures are really spotty compared to SL games. In any case, it would have been aired in the early hours over here. By the way, if it wasn't broadcast live in Old Blighty, check out the Cronulla/New Zealand match that just finished over here. Sharks had 12 against 13 for most of the game, 11 against 13 at one stage... and still won! Haven't seen that kind of gutsy resilience or teamwork under pressure for a long time. Well worth a look.

Start of the season never would have pictured this happening. All the criticism of the squad aside(hopefully not speaking too early) but it feels good to be a Wigan fan again. We stood with them through the lows of last year and the lads/club are certainly repaying us this season. Still some room for improvement but each game we look better and better and I would say each individual player has had at least one standout game.

i'll be watching the Sharks later, but they have generally been good this season, and the Warriors are a bit of a rabble.

They were as I watched the live Wigan/ St Helens match after the 3 Saturday NRL games on Fox and recorded the live Hudds/Hull KR match which followed. Matches were from the BBC and broadcast on the 502 Fox 24 hour RL channel.
