Let's hope it's a bit of nothing and he will be ready for next week then.

Agree re Smith. I’m his biggest doubter but he is at the moment making me eat humble pie.

Long may it continue.

Nothing wrong with humble pie,it's nice to eat it because finally the real Harry smith is coming out to play,as yiu say let's hope it continues

Just enjoying going to games again and feeling entertained, rather than going through a sense of obligation but not actually enjoying it. We’re a work in progress but we are progressing and you can see the basis of a really good side forming. I thought Smith and O’Neill were probably the two most pleasing aspects of tonight. It’s great to see Smith really settling down and whilst it wasn’t perfect from O’Neill, he has all the makings of an excellent hooker.

On to next week we go. I can’t see us pulling off an upset but let’s just compete as hard as we can and see what happens. You just never know in knock out rugby.

We might not win anything this year (Saints probably too good) but I must agree with NK, I’m enjoying watching Wigan again.

Field and French are genuinely are star attractions (a few of my lapsed fan mates came tonight to watch Field).

Havard, Byrne and Smithies thriving now they are being supported with proper senior props.

Smith and O’Neill two young academy lads holding their own replacing two of our better players.

Credit to IL for setting up this coaching staff, the balance of Peet and Briers seems to be working great.

Club feels so fresh compared to last year.

I had a ticket for tonight's game, and, for reasons I won't go into, I didn't get there, so unfortunately only heard the commentary and watched the brief highlights. We now clearly offer a threat in attack from all parts of the field, we just need to tighten up defence around the ruck and line speed. Easier said than done..

Put the cue on the rack after 60 minutes with the game won and a semi-final next week so wouldn't worry about the last two tries, however Ellis seriously needs to up his game on defence.

Thoughts so far on our coach who only got the job because of his accent?

Who said he only got the job because of his accent?

Very pleased so far (especially our attack) apart from performances and results against the top two from last season - let's hope that changes on Saturday.
