My first match at the Stoop was against you guys last year, great performance, i was really impressed by the way your team turned the screw on us! Great atmosphere as well.

Dear Christ! You're turning into Noble.

Personally, I'd agree with Noble. The season nowadays has just become a warm up for the PlayOffs. The Minor Premiership is the equivalent of winning a dinnerplate and has little or no value. What you do in February/ March, although obviously going to have an impact if you lose constantly, is irrelevant. The start to the season doesn't really mean anything, it's how you finish that counts. Look at the slow start at Saints last year. They didn't really start truly playing till mid-April, won/ drew every league game since and then flunked in October. October is the month you wanna start winning games. October/ September are the only months that REALLY matter in the RL calender nowadays.

We should expect to see good rugby for what we pay, but essentially what Noble is saying is correct.
