Trains to St Helens on Sunday : Thu Dec 24, 2009 2:51 pm  

If the game is on - Northern Rail will be operating a revised service due to "members of train crew being unavailable".

They are running just once an hour leaving North Western Station at 36 minutes past (Platform 6) and be aware they are not calling at Bryn.

Also those planning an early dart should note the revised service means the first train is now at 9:36am.

The return journeys are just before the hour at 58 mins past with the last train back at 6:58pm.

If your getting the train from Preston their is a replacement bus between Wigan and Preston.

Yeah they only decided to change the service yesterday, apparently they had a staff shortage of conductors.

Well you'll want to catch the trains coming back to Wigan which leave Lime Street every hour at 31 mins past.

It is on it's Sunday Service. I know this because I'll be catching the 352 myself.
