Needs to be second or even third choice reserve in that department, given we have Pryce and Goulding, unless you say on the other thread the rumours regarding Goulding to Salford are true.

Goulding's loan move to Salford was due to be completed this week, however its been put on hold with Phelp's injury.

Don't see why, id have him behind Ainscough, Pryce and Bailey for either position.

So would I but it looks like Maguire isn't thinking that way.

He's named him in both 19 man squads so far and that would suggest he's first choice back up centre and possibly winger.

We'll find out for sure on Saturday.

The 19 man squad is announced this afternoon and very often we can surmise who will not be in the 17 who play.

Pryce has a calf problem according to Maguire on the official site. Maybe reading too much into it but body language wise he looked a little frustrated when talking about Pryce.

He says the wing spot this weekend is between Goulding and Ainscough.

Some positive news. Heard a whisper that we are in talks with Lee Mossop about a new contract.

You would hope so. It would be devestating to lose him, especially with the error we made in losing Flanagan last season.

Lets get him tied down, long term.
