What aboiut clubs like Wolves? No rugby is played on their pitch and it's still sh*te.

Non starter. Clubs have leases. Councils only grant licences for the stadiums for dual use.

Its a non story anyway, Hull are gone this year, and if Wigan cling on this season, they will be gone next.

An article in the National Daily Mail claims both Hull City and Wigan are expecting a motion at the summer meeting of the Premier league to ban dual sporting use of stadiums in the top flight. The poor state of both pitches is seen by rival clubs as been caused by them sharing the ground’s with Super League Clubs http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footba ... attle.html

The state of the lower placed clubs pitches is due to them not having state of the art sun lamps that fool the grass into growing in winter. That is what the FA should be telling the clubs.

So what about the football teams that share with Yawnion teams like Reading and Watford? Or West Ham's plans to use the Olympic Stadium after 2012? That will still be used as an athletics stadium after the Games. All those hammers and javelins getting chucked into the turf won't do the grass any good but will West Ham be aloowed to use it as well?
