Hopefully no Sheffield fans booked cheap train tickets to London...

It is not like over the years, London fans have been messed about with game times, dates or venues being changed.
Sheffield did it to us about a month ago. Oh the irony !

Did anyone else get the email?

I've not had an email from the club since Feb 11th....a week after the 1st (and to date only) MONTHLY Q&A with Mustard.

The Obvious choice for this game "on the road" would have been Ealing Trailfinders which is 30 minutes away, but nope, let's drag the few regulars we have left across town on a 1 hr car trip or a 100 minute public transport journey from the Cherry Red :FRUSRATED: There's a very good chance that Bridges with Ealing have been torched a la The Hive and Harlequins before them.......

Utter contempt and disregard towards the existing fan base and they're not even apologetic about it. The NEW landlords have kicked us off the park for 8 weeks and 2 days which is 26% of the regular season........TWENTY SIX F()(KING PERCENT!

Who negotiates these deals? A child? Surely not a businessman with a sound grasp of reality?

The harsh reality is that this move has been an even bigger disaster than any of the dozen or so whiners on the internet knew it would be.

Discounted kids tickets offered after game 1, along with cut price "mates rates". The discounts across the board after game 2. A lucky draw and a win against a relegation contender sees us in a relegation spot after 11 games and we have an average gate that is guesswork because they were too embarrassed to announce the gates for Dewsbury or Bradford. Even the 940 claimed on Friday is dubious given fewer than 550 had been sold by Thursday night, but if they're happy to announce 940 but not those other 2 games, you have to ask how much below 900 were they? 980 was the average at Ealing last full championship season, so we've gained nothing except possibly 400 curious locals on Freebies last Friday?
Hughes has to go.
If the club can't survive without him then it doesn't deserve to.

In terms of building up a local fan base to make up for those lost on the way the following seem important to note:
No home games for 2 months. ( very difficult to see how this would work out as a good option in terms of crowd building or Championship survival during crucial 1st season in new ground)
Only one home game - a Friday nighter where our pants were pulled down during the very small window when we might be the only game in town.
No presence at the family day.
Only 6 more home games, 2 of which will be humiliating spankings at the hands of Rovers and Leigh respectively.
Halifax and Batley are likely to make difficult viewing as well as they chase playoffs.
I think our one chance to make a good impression has gone. Pretty sure we didnt get many/any of the big decisions right. We really have to learn from this- if we survive.

But as Orange often points out BT, the Broncos never learn which is why we are where we are.

If they had adopted even 30% of the suggestions made on this forum by us, the club would be in a better position & lord knows we don't have all the answers just more that Hughes & his tame Lobster.

Hope the first doesn't happen, Big Time, and will say no more.

Funny old game, RL...and RLFans is stranger still: Leigh got a fantastic result uphill and down dale tonight and there's virtually no activity on our forum. Meanwhile another slap in the face for Broncos' fans sees a thread spinning out as fast as if from a fishing reel.

Really hope you survive (and get shut of undesirables) and not only for the selfish reason that Bongser wants something to read late at night. :thumb:

Jason Loubser - It’s always been our ambition to grow Rugby League across the region, and we hope our plans to host a one-off match each season in Kent can accelerate us fulfilling this objective.

I have never heard such b/s in all my time supporting this club.

I'd love to see the fag packet these objectives are written on.

Lobster hasn't managed to grow it anywhere currently so not sure why he might think a game in Kent has any value. Lobsters are considered quite intelligent creatures, this one clearly is not.
