As I've said elsewhere, I'd like to see tony Rea back as an advisor. I'd also like the club to scout a couple or more NSW/QLD cup players ...if we pay them as full timers they can be trained to help with other jobs around the club. We have enough old boys back in Oz to put out feelers.
The club needs to become a club again....it's just a team with a couple of back office staff at the moment....they need to get the vibe that we had at Brentford back....JC might be the right coach, but he's hamstrung from the start if all he's permitted is academy boys.

Apart from the embarrassment factor its difficult to know where the Academy ends and the first team starts.

Wouldnt say its embarrassing. He was brought in to cover until a new coach was named. Seems natural to go back

Perhaps if higher profile new coach coming in I.e from SL or a higher placed Champ side or even an assistant at the same it could be messaged as useful experience of management that has helped his development / hopes to be Coach of Champ side in due course but, as I said in my earlier posts, save for his preternatural interview ability Coleman is an identikit of Tsang so it’s a slap in the face.

Craig Bellamy wouldn't be able to polish the turd we will be next year, so regardless of which 3rd tier coach we've appointed, the third tier is where we will be heading. If Hughes doesn't like funding losing sides, he's in for a horror 2022 given Del Boy at Leigh will be spending big to get straight back up, Fev, fax and Batley have looked to retain their squads from this year and widnes, Bradford and Whitehaven are all currently better than us as full timers.......London Derby 2023

The Broncos Are not alone in having their funding from the RFL reduced. All clubs in The Championship will receive significantly less money next season.
The impact is already being shown at the Broncos. Other clubs will be hit hard and it must have an effect.To have you TV income cut by around 90% will decimate the finances of most clubs.
The Broncos have put their dirty washing out early. As bad as it seems for us, The outlook from some other clubs may be even more bleak. Plans that have been made previously will have to be remade. Squads cut.
It will be very interesting next season.
Maybe we should not be quite so gloomy. Who knows?
I do fear for the Skolars though, I hope they can pull through.

Alas, Fev v Fax delivered 3,000+ fans a few weeks back....we've beaten that number 3 times in the last decade, all of them in SL. West Yorkshire having 6 teams, maybe 7 if Keighley sort themselves out is a major plus for them.....£4.00 is the return bus fare between fax and fev.
