Agreed Jaybs. They appear to have made an effort with hosts/guests. Having said that saying “only a few tickets left” is an absolutely standard and dubious sales line. I wish them all the best as the gate receipts are likely to be low. Sheffield have less fans than us. I note both Aston and Sammut missing from the 21 so this won’t be straightforward. Knowing that our home games end with an unattractive game against Rovers I hope the team can put in a consistent performance over both halves. It may affect whether people can face attending for the Rovers game.
The club are quoting they only have a handful of spaces left in hospitality.

As does it being the Ladies Grand Final day .....hospitality will be full of friends and family for the ladies final and where that revenue goes is also under a question mark given we were on our toes before having to go back cap in hand. I'd also point out that a local netball coach and "I'm on sky when they show netball" presenter and the Wimbledon FC manager doing his paymasters a favour by being nice to the new cash cow are hardly the drawcard you'd expect for a professional full time Rugby League Club, but you're declaring them good speakers and host is to be expected....make sure you give doddery dave a thumbs up
Never felt a second half pass so quickly! I was not the only one disappointed at half time, but the second half we looked completely different! 2 more points!
