We have about 250 supporters right now. We are hoping to get to Widnes in two weeks as its the final ticket of the 4 games offer, but thats only 3 of us.

We can't get to wimbledon for other reasons I have posted before, but I am hoping the three of us can get to Widnes game

Geoff

Apologies it was by no means meant as a criticism of you or any other supporter.

There are a number of people for who this change is not practical, my ask is what are the club doing to retain fans who can make the move more easier than perhaps you or I?

I doubt if we'll be able to make Wimbledon as its only another 10 miles or so more but if I remember rightly like you, parking is a big issue. Its a 320 mile round trip by car to Ealing and rather than park on the street we also pay the £5 parking as it helps the club,, another 20 miles is neither here no there but no parking means no tickets for us.

So, just between two posters on a random website which is by no means fully representative of the 'lost' fans, the club have lost six tickets per game which is 2% of their income from current ticket sales. I hope the club engages with those who can make it or they'll need an even greater number of new people to generate revenue.

I'm refusing to go until the club sorts itself out.

I'm not going as Sunday at Ealing doesn't work for me. When I bought my Membership (yes I know more fool me), I assumed if we were able to attend it would be Wimbledon or Rosslyn Park. Club made no mention of Ealing at the time. At least the Club are enjoying my largesse but unless they communicate something positive going forward & soon, then not sure I can be bothered anymore.

If I were still living in west London the hive would have been difficult for me, Ealing a breeze and Wimbledon probably a non starter.
I hope the club can attract 1,000 to Wimbledon, but the reality is that aiming for 1,000 at a game shows how far we've fallen.
The fact that were talking about making the second week of the playoffs as a success is another indication of the death spiral were in

I agree. Communication from the club is long overdue. Not just to the Apes OSG, but to one and all.

Just to be clear I don;'t consider making the 2nd week of the playoffs a success from a club perspective, anything less than promotion is a failure, and I wrote this season off weeks ago.

What I said was if Tom Tsang manages to make the 2nd week of the playoffs, for him it will be a success, considering he has no championship experience, has had to take over first team coach at very short notice, and has the weakest squad in History and 1/2 injured. So for him, from where he takes over the team, getting to that stage would be a success.

This season was written off in 2020. We were bang average then before th plug was pulled and we didn't heed the warnings....this year we're flattered by only losing to toulouse by 24....they'd have stuck a ton on us if we'd travelled.
Next year is looking even worse with 80% if the squad off contract........without summat we'd be relegation candidates
