Gus Mackay, that was an era of Londons history I would rather forget.

GM as GM and Powell as coach ruined the club and we haven’t recovered since

We had full SC spend that year if we had a decent coach we would still be in SL playing in a good ground with largish crowds by our standards.

Agree fully! our current home we have to accept is not up to Super League standards, but then Castleford and Wakefield isn't still!

As a Trinity fan, you’ll get no argument from me on that score. We have seen so many false dawns on the subject of stadium redevelopment, and it’s not through lack of effort by club owners, but dodgy developers and council leaders. We live in hope. I’ve enjoyed my visit to the traifinder stadium, think it’s a cracking little stadium, especially in summer.

To be Honest compared to Trinitys Stadium (IE: The Allotment)
Trailfinders is 100% More Preferable On a Cold and freezing Miserable Evening in January than a Warm July weekend at Wakefield. !!!

Yes I agree! I pointed out in another thread that clubs like St Helens were fortunate to be able to borrow the money from Hong Kong to develop their own new ground, I'm not convinced they even got it completely correct! lack of parking at the ground one. Owning your own ground is so vital, Trailfinder may be a homely place in summer, but we are never going to get the real crowds we need to finance a Top Super League Club, and keep it there.
