I believe that Tom Spencer was another player that wished to return to the North for personal reasons.
Not likely to wish to return to London, therefore.

Vote for the move to wimbledon over 90% yes, just need to get them to play a footy game in front of a crowd and get the move done.
Hopefully it can last the 10 years

It's a strange one why so many northern players can't manage to conduct their lives a couple of hundred miles from home but Aussie/Kiwi players manage perfectly well several thousand miles from home. Could be a good thesis for anyone doing a Sports Psychology degree there.

Girlfriends, boyfriends, wives, families 200 miles away, a lot harder to cope with than being in a different hemisphere 12000 miles away.
Being in a place where its not possible to "pop" home for long weekend is much easier than being somewhere when you know its for 6 or 12 months.

Tom was hoping for a contract offer, at the same time his girlfriend had an offer up north. She had to accept before Broncos made him an offer, if in deed they intended to.
