As i said, i heard a rumour simple as that, it was not from any official source, club press or orginisation. Simply a rumour from someone who seems to know whats going on. How they know i dont have a clue!
Seems it was right though!
As for me in the middle at Aldershot, not for a few years now, no longer with that society.

Not really sure what you are asking me to prove though halfdan. I said from start it was just something i had been told

People who were worried about parking at the new ground I read somewhere that there is parking for up to 100 cars so anyone with people who find it hard to use public transport can still get to the games.

The AFC Q&A document says 100 spaces for disabled fans but that is inside ground & a limited number of parking spaces. Can see no evidence of 100 parking places though.

Wandsworth Council are tightening restrictions in the CPZs around the ground to limit further street parking.

Sadly no, the suggestion is Mon-Sun in order to cover AFC games & other events that may take place at the ground in order to protect parking for local residents. Of course some may be pay & display but even AFC describe this as a public transport destination.

No idea how far Wandsworth have got with canvassing the locals before making a decision though.

Shame. I used to live nearby and parking was relatively easy 15-20 minutes away from the ground, In fact, there are no restrictions on the road I lived on (yet) but I'll be keeping that location to myself

Rugby union with its scrums, rucks , mauls etc puts a hell of a lot of pressure on the grass, especially in winter

RL is like football, just running around on the pitch in summer.:)

from another forum!

Dons Trust meeting/AFC Wimbledon chief executive update:

Broncos are expected to play five/six games at Plough Lane this summer in July, August and September post-pitch renovation.
Broncos will pay for a floodlights upgrade if they get promoted to Super League. If Wimbledon are promoted before Broncos, the former will play.
If the two are promoted at the same time, they will split the circa £80k cost.
Broncos will have desk space available at Plough Lane but it’s not a wholesale move.
AFCW will encourage their fans to get behind Broncos to make it a success, go to games, have a beer in the stands etc.
The chief exec was very big on this. He said he’d “bet his house” on Broncos being promoted within three years and he wants AFCW fans to help make it happen by backing them to increase their playing budget and so forth.
The chief exec thinks 3k crowds are doable in the Championship if enough Wimbledon fans get behind them. Double that in Super League, maybe more.
Broncos have asked AFCW about giving ticket discounts to AFCW fans. They are keen for AFCW fans to watch LB. Nothing confirmed.
The two clubs will collaborate on community work so that Broncos become “ingrained in Merton”. Broncos feel SW London is the best area for them.
