League Express have today published the list of players whose contracts were due to / have expired. 'Not yet determined' means the club have yet to decide on players future - list includes Boafa, Butler, Ogden, Lovell, Fozzard, Armitage, Dixon, Williams, Richards, Adebiyi. No offer, ie leaving Ashall-Bolt ! Other clubs players NYD include Bienek, M Davis, M Cook, Gee, Sammut

Am I being thick here..how can players contracts have expired when we would be in the middle of a season??? Surely Davis still has a warrington contract, SL starts in a few weeks???

Wonder what kind of side we will have when we eventually come back??

I would guess contracts are based on specific dates.

Maybe, just seems strange that some would expire mid season. I would expect in most sports they run season to season

Pretty sure the list relates to next season, eg have they agreed contracts for the future or not. So they are all still under contracts until the end of the current season.

Very tough for players and team regarding contact. Big question marks on income and revenue for the next couple of years.

Lots of teams will be in trouble financially so there will be opportunities too.

With Smith and Ashall-Bolt off, I can only hope of Walker and Cunno coming back !
