not many changes in that 19. which does surprise me i did expect at least to see maybe one if not maybe two more of the younger guys in the squad. i.e Thomas/Caro or Latus.

I see Bailey still missing. which is a shame i would have liked to see him play at SO and see how it goes and then rest Randall from the 19.. I wonder if Sarginson will be name on the bench to get a go at some point in the game

Dissapointed it's basically the same 19 from last week. I was hoping we'd at least see the younger players given a chance. Great to Sargo in there though. I hope he gets a run out, with Ellis and Randall interchanging at hooker.

No Pryce? He'd have a field day against a Championship 1 defence and would release Howell to play at FB. So maybe we'll see O'C at centre and Mr Invisible will play at last?

Stupid, stupid, stupid. The same guys roll out every week, and get the same result every week. Plus, they looked absolutely shot at the weekend. Should have picked a fresh squad of players, it's only Gateshead for god's sake.

He is on a 'short' term loan from Wigan, as is Mitchell from Wire so both were never going to be allowed to get cup tied by playing, whereas Ambler and Burnett are here for the season.

I'd play Calderwood, Krasniqi, Sarginson, Bolger and Bryan as they did not play last week

I would want to rest Temata, although he will likely start, and Dave Williams to miss out, even though it was one of his better performances against Salford.

I would want to see Randall at 9, just to give Sarginson a go, although Sargy will probably be on the bench at best.

The OC at fullback as shifting everyone around doesn't help the morale of the back division.

Hopefully RP utilizes the squad and does not just put out the same team, at least two of the changes seem forced because of the short-term nature of the loans.

Use the five players in the 19, not selected to play last week, the club pays their wages for a reason, and that reason has to be that they are good enough or potentially good enough to play at Super League level.

As i said i would have loved to have seen at least Latus on the wing. But i would have moved Melling to FB and rested Jamie C.

I know we have to have some experienced players in the squad, but i would play Williams of the bench inplace of Bolger or Ambler

Thought Sarge was on exam / study leave? What are the odds on Calderwood getting a game at last? I agree with Melling at FB and putting Randall back at no9 or on the bench to be rotated with Ellis - if RP has learnt one thing its that Chad's no stand off!

I'm split on Melling at FB; on the one hand his pace has returned and so could clearly do the role he did so well that it saw him capped by Great Britain. On the other hand he is still coming into the wing role, daft as it sounds to say, and I would want him to keep that role and make it his own.

Always good to have someone who can slot in at FB; a capped GB international fb, someone who has played quite a few NRL games in the custodian role and someone who looked very good in the junior teams at fullback, and enjoys playing there. A quick return for Dorn next week is high on the agenda too.

Hopefully Powell can let us see how the kids get on. Im eager to see how Sarginson plays in the first team.
