Hi as the programme did not mention a number of initiatives from the volunteers I will put them on here so you can bring along your money and credit cards on Saturday. Just think how good it will feel to have lighter pockets and wallets and not have to drag the weight around.
Raffle tickets will be sold in the home and away ends 5 for £1 and the prize will be 50% of the cash collected. The winning number will be paraded on a board at half time.
Try sponsorship this is back by popular demand and will be sold at each game. Forms will be on the table for everyone to read about exactly what is involved but basic form is if you sign up you can choose option one to pay £1 for every home try scored during the season (last year there were 58 tries at home to give you an idea of the amount you will pay out). Option 2 is to sponsor your favourite player’s tries for the season. This comes in varying amounts per try ranging from £3 per try to £10 per try depending on player. Of course you can dedicate as much money as you want and the volunteers will happily relieve you of your cash with a smile on their faces. If you want to go for both options all the better. You will be sent your payment contribution (sounds nicer than demand) twice a season. This should prevent any massive payouts by fans.
£30 Kids Player Sponsorship- as the above - demand has seen this re-instated. Here a parent completes a form at the desk for a child to sponsor a player for £30. The player will then personalise the photo with to ‘Paul from Rob thanks for sponsoring me’ or words to that effect and the child will collect from the desk at the following game. There is also player data to the side of the photo. All child sponsors will have their name on the website. There is no limit to the amount of players you can sponsor at £30 per time and there is no limit to the amount of sponsors a player can have.
