The best pubs to go in are The Glassbowers in town centre(weatherspoons) and Garden House at the entrance of wheldon Road. Both do good meals. .

I must have been in there on an off day.

Plastic boil in the bag beef, microwaved roasts, soggy veg and a farty little Yorkie pud constituted a sunday lunch in their eyes.

Garden hose is spot on, quality sunday lunch.

Hi Guys

Hope you all make it up north for the greatest game on earth. It should be another close battle, but i think we owe you for the Challenge cup mauling last season.

I think you've already paid us back for that with the league match at The Stoop last year!

I agree with the sunday lunch at the glassblowers it is a bit microwavey and rubbery but their grilled food is Ok.

Funny last year when some young lads were being rude, and the stewards just stood there, wassn't it you Mike that shouted at the Stewards to move them on?

Yes, this was the game where I was hit by a screwed up tea bag thrown immediately after the final hooter last season.

As it's valentines weekend I'll take the old lady out for a trip. Agree about the ground, I love proper grounds rather than the lego sets that are springing up all over the world.
Might even be romantically pushed to buy her a burger, see you there, what time is the inspection, anybody know!

Welcome Quins Kitties born 02.04.09 -
Purdo - Determined, loveable with a "can-do" attitude. A born leader.
Louie - Big, white and fluffy. A very noisy prop forward.
Harley- Cute and gorgeous (just like our no.9) Well, I couldn't call her Chad, could I?
Update on Quins Mogs :-
Purdo - deffo leader amongst Mogs. The Capo.
Louie - turned out to be more like Louie Spence than LMS. Re-named Judas.
Harley - Cute but not as gorgeous as our no.9.
Oh well, at least I haven't got a Willy.

Well I assumed once one pub was mentioned ( the spoons one) most people would meet there, what time are you going to the boot room, and where is it?

I am going to try to get 2 of my mates to come with me, and if they do come I'll take them to the spoons because the boot room may intimidate them a little and we know what spoons are like. If they won't come I will meet you in the boot room

I've PM'd you Sogs.
