The more you listen to Talk Sport the more you get used to it and realise the BBC style Radio we've been brought up with in this country is pompous drivel. BBC radio is not the norm for the style of radio around the world, and its only so strong here due to its completely unfair market advantage of being publicly funded and not having to have regular advert breaks. Talk Sport's a culture shock for a bit but its good radio and has balanced views from all angles....not just the middle class southern approved viewpoints.

Gutters I am working on a steam radio project. If anyone is curious it works on hot air!

Didn't gat an answer when I asked Radford how much he paid Stokes to save his job.

Alan Brasil in the morning is good, Mike Parry is just outrageous to get people to call in but the jewel in Talk Sports crown is Hawksbee and Jacobs. They are brilliant.

Funnily enough Andy Jacobs used to be in the menswear business. They are funny guys and do a lot of other work (used to script Baddiel Skinner football thing - can't remember the name - old age!) and I have seen Hawsbee on the credits for Harry Hill's TV Burp.

Clips of the week in the last hour (3 - 4 on Friday is good) and can also be found on the website http://mag.talksport.net/1R4989759cc305e012.cde

No wireless required these days GF just listen to stuff on t'internet

Think you are right Snoopy. I beleive Andy Jacobs lives in Chiswick and got a feeling he may have seen a game or two at Brentford.

I don't want to disappoint you all but virtually ALL of the daytime presenters have said they love watching league and I think most of them have said they prefer it to watching Premiership Rugby Union.

If I could find that head banging a wall thing I would put it here now.........

:WALL: :WALL: :WALL:

Alan Brazil, his side kick Ronny Oranee, Andy Townsend, Hawksbee and Jacobs, Ian Wright and that Adrian Durram bloke (excuse the phonetic spellings) have all mentioned it, especially Ronny Oranee who is from Bolton and Adrian Durram who is ginger.

This is the last time I'll say it so if anyone with an ounce of zip about them in the commercial departments is reading this...............

a summer game, against wigan, saints or warrington preferably, some top champagne and Alan Brazil...........whoooooosh, bang.
