Coleman’s in charge of that. Great L1 contacts apparently.

So Rhys Kennedy from HKR. Big lad by the looks of it.

Yup good to get someone in who has played a few SL games- looks a solid recruit.

Boafo is an upgrade. We could probably do with some backup in case of injuries. Thought we might go for Walmsley but he’s obviously in the minority of Aussies who prefer the costa del Yorkshire to London- it’s possible he likes a drink and has heard it’s £7 per down Sarf. As for Meadows I think he can do a job but if he’s looking for the love, this forum ain’t the place for it.

I can't agree with this. Eccles is putting faith in signings that he can mold into a competitive SL team, more than the sum of the parts. Eccles has been at London a long time, knows the potential of the former Broncos he's signing and after the promotion we should have some faith in his decision making.

Thought recruitment was pretty average until the Meadows announcement.

Yes I think this is the point. On the face of it we’re light on SL recruitment but it looks like there will be a good team atmosphere where they all get along and that helps drive performance. My slight concern is you can only recruit ‘internally’ so to speak for so long before the well runs dry. In the past players from the North have come in and gone but would have been able to tell their pals back North that playing for London holds benefits and ensures others look at it as a viable option.

Different player now Buzza. He’s agreed not to do that telegraphed fake to pass then try to go over the line move that has disappointed in the past!
In all fairness I suspect he’ll be more consistent after two years in a strong side and Ward thinks highly of him and he knows his onions. Let’s see how he goes.
