Not really, HKB is determined to continue his crusade against me though, even if it means totally ignoring what has actually been posted.
EFH posts an idea, and then you pick it apart dismissively in a series of 5 posts
Which bit have I ignored here? If you want to be a snidey little fella, go for it mate, but don't whinge about me when I call you on it.
Crusade, don't make me laugh. Given I've made about 1/10th the number of posts on this site as you have, which one of us has the time for that kind of nonsense do you think?
PS: I thought he'd called you a coot anyway, you know, like a moaning old bloke - hardly serious abuse is it?
lister, your a stuckup idiot, i can't believe you can't just discuss an idea, this guy, like me, is a new supporter, and i find it very hard to talk to people at games, im just very shy, a supporters group would be a great way for me to meet people!

Deary me, OK, next time I will pretend its an amazing idea. What next, trying to somehow argue that Joe Mbu is a world class goal kicker?
You ignore the fact it was 1 person who got abusive on here when someone disagreed with his idea.

I discussed the idea.
And the OP got his knickers in a twist because I didn't think it was a good one.
My input into the discussion was that Quins supporters are a friendly bunch already and if you came along to a match you would be fine. In fact, if you want to meet some people, i'm somewhere in the age bracket of 18-26, if you want to meet for a beer or something before a match, PM me and we might be able to sort something.

Your offer is appreciated, but after reading your previous posts, maybe id be better off meeting up with the ex-wife, some local inmates, hell even Ann Robinson would be more welcoming!

We all know Lister is abrasive in response.
Rather than say its a poor idea, Lister will call it utter poop
But we know this - so i'd rather we park it.
The topic was to discuss ways of making the specatator experience more appealing to non or new fans.
Ive been to Hull FC most of my life, and now im in London, would like to experience the same sort of affiliation and enjoyment from my match day.
Its clearly not the same as most places, and i was simply trying to inject some new/fresh ideas or at least start a discussion to try and draw these ideas from other people who 'may' have felt the same 'liassez faire' attitude that exists.
It clearly hasnt workedm and has allowed people to get involved into banter, rather than discuss the ideas.
I have to say, I have stopped posting on here and read infrequently these days, due the continous downbeat nature of just about all the posts.
I've been a season ticket holder for many years and reading these boards almost put me off, so GOK what effect the posts have on the casual observer.
I have been as guilty of anyone of getting involved in meaningless 'banter' with Lister, but whats the point, occasionally he has legitimate things to say most of the time his argument will change from post to post, if he's caught out he will try and make out it was all a joke to start with and your stupid for not getting it, and generally be very aserbic to anyone who dares post anything he doesn't like.
Ignore him, he obviously doesn't have a life due to the time he spends on here, try and keep things positive and maybe those firstimers will come back.
