It appears from J15a of the M1 that both Cooke and Quins RL whilst aren't quite in "last chance" salon are both in need of some "redemption".
I would suggest that it possibly is a marriage made in heaven, it could also be a relationship fraught with issues.
However, I'm firmly in the "Let's give it a go" camp rather than the "what if's".
On his day Cooke is as good any number of his SL peers and with the right coach he could flourish. Currently, Lee Briers is a maverick thriving under the correct guidance and has played a big part in Warrington success under Tony Smith. I'm sure under the right coach Cooke could do something similar.
I think Quins RL now need to be bold in the future which started on Friday 3 September.
The clock is ticking and before we all know it 2014 will have been and gone.
