Ah yes, the old "it's only banter" argument. You're very fond of telling everyone else on here that they're stupid, well it's time for me to give you some guidance in basic social etiquette.
If you know someone really well, if you're a close friend, you can get away with saying things that would otherwise be considered rude, arrogant, or just plain bullying.
Someone 12,000 miles away, whom you have never met, whom you only communicate with in short written messages, is not by any stretch of the imagination a "friend" (anyone who thinks they are is clearly very lonely). Consequently you do not know them well enough to be rude, arrogant, or bullying and claim it to be mere "banter".
