Also, and bearing in mind our next away game is Rovers, can I suggest we don’t pick up the home teams celebratory try posts - we can note them in a more matter of fact way .

Absolute shambles
It's farcical that the club spend more time banning peoe from Twitter & Facebook as well as removing emails from their database than they do posting valid content.
As for retweeting fax celebratory posts
....it shows no regard for the members who they are begging to bring mates.
......And don't put this down to technical faults. A smart phone is all you need for twitter and we have a new guy whose only job is social media......idiots, the lot of them :DEPRESSED:

Not that I can see the Broncos feed, but amateur sports clubs I follow seem to take twitter score updates in their stride.

The 1 positive i can see from this game is that we played in proper Broncos colours. Not much consolation though.

For what it's worth I thought your lads put up a good show. Defence wise they were sound until Fax got on top in the 2nd half and then tiredness, along with the horrendous weather, took it's toll. Attack wise though they never really troubled the Fax line. Well done to the Dozen or so Broncos who made the trip. Up The Fax! :DRUNK:

Monday night, some 24+ hours after the final siren and no report from the club on the website or anywhere else....only another f&-*$ing retweet with the below tagline...

All the best bits from Halifax's big 28-0 @Betfred Championship home win over London yesterday.

.....best bits of a 28 point to zip loss.
Sooner they fold the better.
I see over on total there's a group still applauding Hughes
I care little for his lost millions..,I care more about the equal amount of funding that wasn't his to flush :DEPRESSED:

I think our only possesson on those highlights was a kick return.

True. It’s almost like they didn’t review it before they put it up.....or got mixed up which team was which!
On the plus side although quite a few off field errors, they are all pretty basic and can be corrected easily enough for Sunday’s game. My guess is we won’t have the team sheet up at half time again and they’ll finalise the website pretty soon to remove errors and update the squad list. Can the on-field problems be corrected? I hope so. Big game this.

Re: Sunday’s game : Tue Feb 15, 2022 4:41 pm
I noticed the Halifax game was on YouTube so forced myself to watch a portion of the 1st half. I have to say, in dreadful conditions, we were definitely very much in the game and in fact the better side. To me we looked much better than I saw at Widnes or Haven.
In essence we spent large patches of the period I watched in the ‘red zone’. To my inexperienced eye Bienek, Foster and Tuilati look a physical presence and Curran looked lively. Coates had quite a central role and I think there is something there but he’s very green. Horseman’s kicking on the last looked forced. Basically to my mind an experienced talented player like Sammut would have scored or created 2 or 3 from the positions we got in. Letting him go seems more and more a false economy. One issue I think is that we are now quite a big team I can see they will tire towards the end of games and if we don’t have the guile to score from our possession that will be problematic.

I wouldn't pretend to be an expert either but I always reckoned Bienek would have benefited from staying longer first time round and playing for us in Super League.

I think there are a number of ex players (kids) who have headed north too early and 'failed'. Walker being a more recent example.
