That would be my issue. A prime candidate for the homesickness brigade

I reckon you might be right but on his day he can be a real match winner. Could be worth a punt IMO.

With a history like Cooke's the head coach would have to have the last word on signing him. At present, we have no head coach.

I guess you are one of the people who will be happy watching the club fade away into nothing. We need to take gambles, Cooke is a decent stand off when he wants to be, something we are crying out for. I doubt we'd have to pay him a fortune as I can't see many other SL offers flying through his letter box. He's heading towards the end of his career now, I reckon we'd be perfect for him.
