It’s surprising how many of the players we have mislaid over the last couple of seasons are not regular starters or even irregular starters at their new teams. I hope our management are monitoring this as we need some more quality in the side. Having said that I’m unsure whether 2 weeks loans of good players are more disruptive than helpful unless to cover an injury rather than quality deficiency. Imagine being bumped for 2 weeks and then brought back in. It’s not like the player has improved...it’s pretty much a vote of no confidence .

Leigh will look at this game as a chance to boost their +/-. Fev dropped a point in their draw with Batley and I suspect that a few more "surprise" results over the season might see points difference the selector of Home/Away advantage at the end.

Coleman’s thoughts are now on the website. I’ll leave others to digest but one minor point if anyone from the club is logging in. Is that photo of Coleman really the best we can do? To me he doesn’t look confident/positive etc but rather confused/unhappy/ angry/broken. I can understand that only too well but is that really the image we want to present to the world? I’m sure it’s a 5 minute job to fix this going forward and get a more constructive picture on the go.

Talking of poor decision making I have signed up for the OURLEAGUE stream. I think it’s worth supporting the initiative although whether what I see will entertain me is open to debate.

I had a look as well and couldn’t find it but I could swear that this is what they said would happen. Either way it will be played in Featherstone or Leigh I suspect.

They'll announce it when they figure out a way of stopping Featherstone being promoted

Does anyone know are we obliged to have a reserve team if we want an Academy?
If not then where we are now let’s drop the reserve team and see if we can get a half decent 1st team going forward. We’re not doing ourselves,Skolars, LondonRL or anyone any favours continuing doing what we are doing. If we survive next season we have to do things differently.

"Things" needs to be everything.
Venue: back to Ealing if we are staying part time
Coach: Coleman is a loser.....he has the air of a condemned man.
CEO: we need a GM. Someone who can wear a few caps and roll their sleeves up.
Back office team: if we can't pay, then interns and volunteers, but get them in place in January, don't beg for them in March.
Matchday experience: if we want fans to return then there has to be a post match party. Forget the corporates.....for now.

Hughes will 100% put the current off field failings down to the fans not coming. The CEO has been at the club longer than any other member of staff and has presided over 2 venue changes with both being touted as GREAT FOR THE CLUB when in reality, the first was apparently nothing of the sort, resulting in the second which is an unmitigated disaster.
This is 100% down to Hughes and he's never admitted an error before, so I suspect a dummy spit and our further dropping down the tiers.

All that said I've paid £4.95 to watch the live stream. The only good result will be that we won't be nilled.
