Danny Ward was a great coach. The Broncos team that got promoted (and in that SL season) achieved much more than the sum of its parts. Ideally the reins could have been handed over to Jamie Langley but I guess he also saw what was coming.

We have lost to 3 of the current top 6 sides but have yet to play either of the top 2, which isn't to say we are all bad, but we have scored fewer points than anyone else in the comp and are in a relegation dog-fight.

I predicted out first win would be Sheffield away. and I reckoned Coleman would be gone by May. I've no idea of the other predictions being correct as the club have stopped announcing the gate

Hate to be that guy, we have already lost to Fev, but everything else your spot on

We won't beat Sheffield away they will be too strong, first win will be May 1st vs Rams. I still have us winning 6 this year, plus the draw at Barrow will give us 13 points, which should have us above Rams and Town

Has to be said that Alex did a great job with the Twitter updates yesterday.

Totally agree with the first and third points.

I can't really comment on the coach as I have nothing to compare with, nor do I know the true quality/level of the players and thus whether he is doing well or badly with what he has. Having said that he was primarily responsible for recruiting them and the end result is a single draw to date. Of course the (vast) consensus is agreeing with you and I have no reason (apart from my limited knowledge, which isn't a reason anyway) to disagree.

Fair assessment. We don’t know who does what in recruitment but IIRC an articulated selling point about JC was his knowledge of the London RL scene. This seems to have booked down to an unwelcome (on my part anyway) whole scale plundering of Skolars. It appears he also directed us to some L1 prospects. Foster, Coates and O Donnell spring to mind. Of those 2 have bid a very, very hasty retreat for good or ill I’m not sure although Coates kicking was as poor as I’d seen despite being badges as ‘deadly’ I believe. So not a complete bill of clean health for JC. Also a Twitter user has queried the interview boxy language of JC. Difficult for him but I agree- he should avoid looking beaten at this stage. Finally I wonder about our warm up. It looks very low energy as opposed to previous years or,indeed, our opponents. Could it be one reason why we are doing lacklustre starts?

It's interesting that we are indeed now finishing stronger rather than fading, which is a good thing.

Now to sort out the early part of the match. After eight matches (640 minutes), if I'm correct, the Broncos haven't held a lead all season, not for even a minute!

Yeah we've been chasin the game all season - hopelessly at first!
If only we could score first ,eh?

The Broncos still lost - AGAIN. So what if the score was close - we still haven't won a game after almost 1/3 of a season - and other scraping a victory over Whitehaven probably won't. Basically, we have uncreative halves, a poor coach and no goal kicker.

I take your points but it would be a lot worse if we were getting spanked in every game.Like at the start of the season.
As I posted earlier I think our only hope is H and A wins against the other teams in the bottom 4 and then perhaps a surprise result or two - like the draw at Barrow.
I think those of us who've been around LB for a while that were under no illusions that this season was going to be anything but relegation battle.
Would help if we could keep all 13 players on the pitch if we're going to stay up.

Looked to me like LB were robbed of a definite try by the touch judge

From the replay I saw I'm not sure why he didn't just let momentum take him over the line. Seems to land on his side and then roll to his back and outstretch arms.I'm not sure on the specific rule.
