I agree. He started a little slower than I’d hoped but back end of the season was solid and made a good contribution.

Really sad news that Bill Leyland has picked up a season ending ACL. Natoli has also picked up a knock that will keep him out until Spring. If it keeps going like this squad depth will become an issue again.

And now I read Josh Rourke has had his leg broken in the game against Oldham. From the BBC site (nothing on the Broncos site yet so assume its correct) - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-league/68205489 So that's Rourk, B Leyland, Walker, Natoli & Bassett out for at least the start of the season. It never rains but it pours.

And now I read Josh Rourke has had his leg broken in the game against Oldham. On the plus side we have enough to make a full 17- last couple of seasons that appears to have been our start of season goal. Perhaps not a very sensible one. I’m all for us trying a different approach next year.

Hmmmmm, the Leopard doesn't change its spots BT, so don't hold your breath. Sad news for those 2 & hope the other injuries are not too serious. The silver lining in this rather depressingly dark cloud is that Hughes Junior gets closer to the 1st team just on numbers alone.
