Thank you for your best wishes for RL in London. Your point about a strong and successful presence in London is right. The trouble is that I think it would require buy-in from the game as a whole to achieve. I'm not sure that the situation of the last few years has done anyone any favours.
There were two international rugby league games and two NFL games played in London in 2013.
The rugby league games attracted 67,000 the NFL attracted 180,000.
It shows that there is an appetite for strong competitive sports that market themselves well (regent street/Trafalgar square) and that are shown in decent time slots on the telly (not Friday and Saturday nights)
