I think previously it had been said he had signed to go back to France but that was before we won MPG.

1st day of pre season training video posted on Twitter suggests Davies, Hoyes and a couple of the other youngsters retained. Don’t know if everyone was there but no Grant, Horsman or the as yet unaccounted for overseas players. A couple of faces I didn’t recognise, a little fella and a bigger guy with a prodigious Afro. Any ideas?

Is the guy with the afro. Jonny Campbell who played for Batley last season?

He’s about 40. I think this guy is younger but who knows. Probably they should get on and announce players.

I'm guessing this was perhaps more down to the geography than anything else, but still disappointing to be turned down in favour of a newly promoted Championship team. https://www.totalrl.com/the-super-leagu ... doncaster/

Am sure there would have been a geographical element there as he lives in that part of the world.
