Even from Twickenham, It's a pig of a journey on Sundays. Bus from Richmond is 40+ stops.

We used to cycle from west Ealing to the stoop....about an hour with a couple of pit stops  . The same starting point to the cherry would be 50 mins with no stops.....I'd do that in the warmer months.....in winter it would be 90 minutes by bus and train.....lt currently takes me 3 hours each way including flights to get to mt smart, but I would need the broncos to make more of an effort in terms of matchday experience to get me there regularly, regardless of the hassle to get there.

It’s no walk in the park from North London either. Sigh! Hour and a half minimum.it does benefit from not costing me an extra £20 unlike Ebbsfleet.

Orange when you say “make more of an effort in terms of match day experience” it might have been fairer to say “ start making any effort at all no matter how small in terms of match day experience...”

there is that....but it sems that the fascination with getting people in for a pie and a pint is 100% to focus for the club and to hell with those of you slumming it in the cheap seats. The idea of essentially GIVING AWAY CORPORATE HOSPITALITY is a new one on me. £22.00 was the Regular Seaton Match Day Ticket Price, but now you can rub shoulders with St David of Swinton's Ego for just £3 more.

Remember. At the start of the season Hospo was £60....then £35........now it's just £25.........at what stage does it become an embarrassing failure? We were IMMEDIATELY discounting tickets after the Halifax opener...From an email received FEB 4TH 2022

Lets build on our first game and bring someone new!
Our crowd of 2182 against Widnes when we played our first Betfred Championship game of the season at the Cherry Red Records Stadium was our biggest for several years. But we know we can do better.

Thats why we have decide to offer the amazing price of £2 for Under 18s for the next two Home League fixtures against Whitehaven and York and Full Members can bring a friend for just £4

Tickets are available following the links below and members can book their guest seat in Block 106 if they wish.

THEY KNEW THEN THAT THE MOVE HAD FAILED ALREADY.........but they've just ploughed on regardless. From the day after the opener they should have been on the phone to trailfinders, booking us in for the Summer break and back full time there in 2023....but they KNEW!
The combined gates of Dewsbury & the 2 Ebbsfleet games are lower than that season opener. What odds we won't see 2k at Cherry Red next year either...... :DEPRESSED:

With the stated target by Yosser to have 5,000 fans in 3 years, the first season in Wimbledon can only be seen as an massive failure. This was very predictable for anyone who had cared to take at look at what happened with previous moves.

The club focussed on hospitality as this was supposed to generate more revenue that could then be spent in other areas. I wonder if it actually does generate much more when the gold lounge is discounted so heavily.

With no effort made on providing a match day experience, the club is relying on the atmosphere and on field performance to draw any newcomers back. With the gold lounge so effectively segregated from the general admission it seems that adds very little to the atmosphere.

I actually think that the atmosphere was better at Ebbsfleet, however no effort was made to enhance the matchday experience there either.

Perhaps next season we should aspire to play our home games in a phone box for that close together feeling.

That won’t work. 2 boxes with one with a Gold badge on it and it’s own attached bar and we’ve got a plan!

Odd that. Might just be me but if you squinted a bit it looked like we were back at Griffin Park? A bit ramshackle, red seats, open terrace at one end................................
