Orange when you say “make more of an effort in terms of match day experience” it might have been fairer to say “ start making any effort at all no matter how small in terms of match day experience...”
there is that....but it sems that the fascination with getting people in for a pie and a pint is 100% to focus for the club and to hell with those of you slumming it in the cheap seats. The idea of essentially GIVING AWAY CORPORATE HOSPITALITY is a new one on me. £22.00 was the Regular Seaton Match Day Ticket Price, but now you can rub shoulders with St David of Swinton's Ego for just £3 more.
Remember. At the start of the season Hospo was £60....then £35........now it's just £25.........at what stage does it become an embarrassing failure? We were IMMEDIATELY discounting tickets after the Halifax opener...From an email received FEB 4TH 2022
Lets build on our first game and bring someone new!
Our crowd of 2182 against Widnes when we played our first Betfred Championship game of the season at the Cherry Red Records Stadium was our biggest for several years. But we know we can do better.
Thats why we have decide to offer the amazing price of £2 for Under 18s for the next two Home League fixtures against Whitehaven and York and Full Members can bring a friend for just £4
Tickets are available following the links below and members can book their guest seat in Block 106 if they wish.
THEY KNEW THEN THAT THE MOVE HAD FAILED ALREADY.........but they've just ploughed on regardless. From the day after the opener they should have been on the phone to trailfinders, booking us in for the Summer break and back full time there in 2023....but they KNEW!
The combined gates of Dewsbury & the 2 Ebbsfleet games are lower than that season opener. What odds we won't see 2k at Cherry Red next year either......
