If the RFL was looking to get the biggest possible crowd the game would be played in central London somewhere like Loftus or Craven Cottage. However I beleive they have made the best decision with regards to rugby league in London and Quins RL.
Playing the game at the stoop, puts all funds back into the game (or Quins in this case, the ground is owned by the club?) through venue hire and catering. From a first hand look, the ground also has adequate corporate facilities which is imporant for international matches.
The game should easily sell out with the right promotion, hopefully the RFL will help Quins with the promotion of Super League in London and the 2010 season. This is an opportunity that needs to be seized, the RFL and Quins have 8 months to get it right! Good luck!
