In my opinion a team in France in a part time league is more trouble than it’s worth. With a depleted squad I don’t expect much but will be interesting to see the result.

Probably Covid jabs. Unless French law has changed you need to be fully jabbed to play in a sports stadium in France. A few players left Toulouse when the law came in and Superleague teams Had the same issue in 2022. Quite what Broncos think the RFL can do about French law is a mystery. Our 13 will probably be fine, the interchange bench light although difficult to tell if this was an opportunity to beat them whilst they are light on numbers and us on a roll or whether we would get a spanking in any case. On the plus side if our MO is to bring on academy players then they have to get game time. Skolars may be disinclined to pay for untried youngsters which only leaves the Reserves, who take a pasting each game they play, or this type of game. May be a blessing. And also on the plus side we aren’t refusing to play the game leading to a fine and points docking.

Trying to block that game out of my mind. Full time squad, absolutely sxxx performance. That game there and the ‘ back at Trailfinders ‘ spanking by a big old, but not fantastic, Bradford side, is probably why we are where we are...dreaming of mid table obscurity. Sigh.

Every week, I double check the table to see how close to the relegation spot we are. Sad, isn't it?
