See the Broncos are saying that they wont be posting many updates on the game tonight. Apparently if you want updates to follow the game, look at the Featherstone social media. That's shocking!

To add some levity to what is likely to be a grim afternoon for Broncos, check out Fevs squad. It’s excellent but yeesh should kids be subjected to that horror show. A case for the NSPCC? Stuff of nightmares particularly the last two rows.

It's pathetic but personally I would have needed to check the Featherstone feed anyway .

Compare this to Hampton and Richmond Borough FC (where I'll be this afternoon). Not only do they update socials but have their own commentary home and away. Match highlights (home and away) always on YouTube within a day or two as well. Something is seriously up at LB.

I know plenty of non-league football clubs doing that sort of thing via volunteers or people earning token money in an attempt to make their name and get picked up by a bigger club (it's a hugely competitive field)

I would have thought doing that for a step two club in a national(ish) sport would appeal to many unless the restrictions around Sky rights etc are too onerous. (A Northern Premier League I used to watch recently lost their media team due to them getting fed up of league demands they had to provide the highlights to the league Saturday evening, give them 24 hours exclusivity etc. It got too demanding so theywalked.)

The Flash Score app is pretty reliable, and useful if you want to track multiple teams

It's got Hampton & Richmond down as off today so hopefully jbuzza didn't travel. The RL contingent at the Hamlet are currently enjoying a 0-0. Whitehaven are 12-0 up at Newcastle after six minutes apparently.

Pitch inspection while I was waiting for bus said Game On !! Just as I was getting to ground Game Off and then the rain stopped !

For this game, not having score updates may be a blessing & just deal with the end result.

The game goes ahead following a 4pm inspection. The rain today lasted a lot longer than had been forecast, but stopped over an hour ago, bound to be a bit of a mudbath though.
