Challange Cup : Wed Feb 16, 2022 12:11 pm  

I have just been on the Broncos website looking for tickets for the challange cup which is our next home game on the 26th February. The website is stating our next home game is against York on the 6th March. When I click on the link for the York game it states tickets are for the Whitehaven game. I then had a look for tickets to the premium lounge for the Bradford game, the write up for the premium lounge states our next home game is against Widnes on the 30th January.
I thought we had taken on a new media person, if we have he does not deserve to be paid, there is probably a good 50% of the site which requires updating i e. Supporters club, players names, players sponors, correct match information etc etc. Its funny how the store section is upto date, I wonder why?
It seems to me those who are currently running the club just do not care, their attitude is bringing the club down to a part time amateur club with no future.

That is shocking but not surprising. Are there no IT savvy Flat Earthers in the BOSG want to volunteer? At least you would think they would have the motivation to keep it up to date. I'm sure amongst us we could do a good job of it but of course most of us are banned. Hey ho!

I think the new chap just does social media. I also think we thought me may be building his CV rather than getting paid (much) so he get a free pass from me it’s who has oversight of all these little moving parts that intrigues me. I suggested in earlier post that it felt like a one man band behind the scene, a one man band that is soon to depart with no replacement(s) in sight, and that that was too much really to expect of one person. I’ve been banging on for some time now that the website needs updating etc and that progress seems to be in little steps. For instance our new unheralded Skolars recruits have now been added to the 1st team page as have sponsors. (Cudos to some of those sponsors who have invested quite a lot for very little in return other than trying to help the club.) it’s all a bit random and not joined up- that can happen when you cut corners and try to get by on a shoestring. Asking for volunteers to cover is a really risky policy. London is a big old city and many of our fans will not be locals in the same way as Batley or Hunslet fans might be. That makes it more difficult to get buy in even if people could see quite what we are working towards.

This has still not been fixed on the club website.

Right down bottom link to general admission
Click on the Bradford cup game option and the type of ticket you want
To say there is a wide range of available seats would not be an exaggeration.

I don’t care what anyone says I think it’s intuitive and makes the job easy for would be purchasers! Sigh.....

does not look like anything for Kids other than the likely hammering by the bulls. Why are they not using the facilites at wimbledon thats one of the reasons why they moved.

I saw this on Broncos FB, so looks like no mascots anytime soon

OK now we know on that. Shame as unlike last year there have been kids around.
I had thought the mascots of other clubs had been lower profile than usual although I saw at this weekend’s televised games that Wolfie and the SH mascot were back.

This club is buggered once they can't blame everything on covid......I expect a few more will follow monkey once Hughes sees the emperor's new outfit...
