Such a shame such "dozen or so whiners on the internet" were dismissed. We can blame IMG, the RFL or the superleague owners all we like, but there's really only one person to blame.

Looking at that post, one damning thing is to look how many posters we used to have here to react. It wasn't just a dozen or so whiners back then; there used to be loads of us. Most gone. Die hard maniacs. Gone.

Very true and even a couple of years back. When the inevitable announcement is made (obviously obviously not any Broncos outlets) it would be good to hear the closing thoughts of some of the old stagers before we get booted onto the Toronto/Bramley section of the site. Apologies if any are no longer with us but off the top of my head Wire Aquino, Mark Rammond, Jaybs, Bronco Ben, PC Plum, Torbreck….list goes on and on.

I saw Paddock at a match early this season, all was well.

Last time I bumped into him around Aldershot Wire Quin was plotting early retirement and expected to return north. He simply got fed up on and off pitch.

Surrey Ben was a Quins RU man and stopped coming when we left the Stoop.

Pink Panther is another who got fed up on and off pitch. He's happily watching Dulwich Hamlet still, there's a women's team there on Sunday's now playing a good standard of football.
