Rumour that Plough Lane will be hosting the LIT7's (Union Sevens) on Saturday 25th May. That suggests a slightly shorter window for the pitch being unavailable this summer. The match the following day at home to Hull KR should certainly go ahead. It was pandemonium, against the team that should never exist (many supporters still refuse to attend this fixture). Sound on for the clips. Clip 1 is the must see. Great clips! Always have had a soft spot for the Dons ( the real ones) since their non-league exploits in the 70s - and about that time my school used to get bussed through South London for sports lessons in Morden, coaches used to take us past the old Wimbledon dog track and the old Plough Lane. Particularly enjoy seeing Wimbledon beat the club that should never exist!
