Sheffield offered nothing. Both their tries appeared to be as a result of our dawdling on a kick on the last.
A good performance from the team but our squad is paper thin. As you say Aston was in the stands again. Sammut came by and had a chat with people, Krasniqi just isn’t playing anymore, Egodo doesn’t look fit. If it wasn’t for Miski, Hankinson and Richards turning up every week I think we’d be shot. Thought that Moran played well and Horsman looks more confident. Boafo has the X factor and Fozard did well although went off- hopefully not an injury.

Just back from the game. Two average sides main difference was we punished Sheffield mistakes, and Sheffield did not punish us.... Score did flatter us a little but will take the win..

Not sure how the Win percentage is calculated, but I think if we beat Swinton we qualify in 6th,but can somebody else confirm?

So many keep asking me that? I just can't work it out, BBC website did within minutes of end of games today lol

Assume it is the same as SL. So points won ÷ games played × 50. Seems to work as we have 21 points -2 = 19 ÷ 17 × 50 = 55.88 which is what BBC are showing.

Question is how does the 2 points deduction stack? Do we count as one less win?

We might need to win both Swinton and York (TBH if we dont win both then we dont deserve the playoffs)

correct.....and if we win 1 more of our last 3 we are 6th. Whitehaven seem to have hit form about a fortnight too late thankfully, so it looks like a trip to the shay awaits unless Fax slip up.
Halifax have tough trips away to fev and then haven before batley at home....they will be battle hardened by the time we arrive.
It will be interesting to see who travels to toulouse and how they cope as part timers with a weeks notice and all the other malarky that stopped them all going earlier in the season.

I'm not sure there will be any changes in rules by the time a team will have to go to Toulouse in playoff semi so if Batley didn't go this weekend & a decision pending on York for 12th September are you sure they won't insist on Toulouse playing that game in England. Then there is the Million Pound game!!!
