Agreed.
If we make the top half it'll be a good season, top 5 an excellent season.
2020 for me is for rebuilding, blooding some young 'uns and maybe having a real crack at promotion in 2021.

Even more of a shame we didn't enter the 1895 Cup if we are blooding youngsters and not caring too much about the league this year

I think we care about the league, I just dont think we have a strong enough squad. Some decent recruitment but not enough (for me) to win it. Bit like last season and staying up. Just did not have enough in the squad, despite how well we done. I think we will make the top 5, we will be too strong for most, just not enough when it matters.

Not sure why you say we don't care about the league.
If that's case what do we care about? 1895 cup is an interesting one, there are constant calls a cross sport to reduce the number of games over a season, so why introduce another cup. I think I am correct in that all pro teams are obliged to enter the CC. Catalan and Toronto have a get out because of governing body stuff.
So for us, our focus has to be the league
