You make undeclared payments to break the salary cap, get caught, threaten Armegeddon if you are punished, get found guilty on some counts, get a punishment on the lower end of the scale and then shout foul and appeal.

Then you accuse the ruling body of not being fit for purpose and try to coerce other clubs into supporting you.

Imagine he gets the support, forms his own version of the RFL, who would be in charge and making the rules up as he goes along Dr M of course with the rules totally biased to the success of his own team.

If PA and Dennis Betts were guilty of bringing the game into disrepute for criticising incompetent refereeing by Joe Cobb where does good old Dr M stand to me he is simply disrepute on two legs.

If we let this joker take control and make up his own rules the game wil not be worth watching anymore be interesting to see who wants to be on board with him.

he got the marquee rule in his favour but didnt use it?

he does make some vaid points though, super league could very well become a feeder comp for the nrl and as a fan i want to see the best players, be gutted to see the likes of mcgillvary , brough, cudjoe for example go to the nrl (an example of what could happen in the future before people say they wont leave)

He's an idiot who if left to his own devices would blow millions on Salford, create a massive gap at the top and probably put some clubs out of business in the chase for success by spending well above their means. We're light years behind Australia with regards to players, tv contracts, wages and money and increasing the salary cap to compete with the Aussies would be a disaster.

I am not sure Kookie would have been able to use the marquee rule Brearley as I read it, it is based on club income and expenditure so I doubt whether any chairman putting money into a club would be able to class it as income.Yet sillier things have happened.

Agree with everything above the guys an absolute clown and I just hope no other Chairman go along with his stupid plans to ruin our game. With any luck he will be left on his own and hopefully disappear to wherever he came from. And that would definitely be Good Riddance as far as I'm concerned.

He is a clown, but I think he has a point regarding the way the sport is run. We are going backwards, smaller crowds, silly mid week fixtures, international game getting even less popular, no big sponsors or TV deals when compared with so many other sports. If RU can grow than so should we, IF run well.
