I do wonder what you lot watch sometimes.
Our problem has been brough is all we’ve had- everything has revolved around him because frankly we’ve had no one else with any kind of handle on the game or game management.
No he isn’t the player he was- but to suggest he offers nothing- or less than Rankin, Gaskell Russell, turner, is just bonkers.
(And two of those are earning probably similar next year)
if you can’t see what a positive it would be to take that pressure off his shoulders and have people alongside him rather than around him then perhaps you should stop watching.
Just who do you think you are ??? To tell anybody that doesn’t agree with your views to ‘stop watching’ ??
We all pay our ‘buck’ and as such have a right to our own opinions and that includes you, by joining this site you want to debate with our fans and those of other clubs but to tell someone high handedly to stop watching smacks of a petulant child not getting its own way.
In ‘my opinion’ the jury is out on Danny Brough as he’s played eleven games this season not too many more than our injury cases and has actually been half decent in most of the ones he has played but the sin binning’s in games does mean he can also be a liability which has to be taken into account.
Jackson Hastings has not signed as yet or may not do so. Thus the half back issue is Russell or Brough, well my opinion is if we win at Hull KR, which would be the third since he has been suspended, Russell would retain his place as that’s how it should be, unless Brough is brought back to manage Russells time due to his youth but by no means should he be just brought back because he’s ‘Danny Brough’
What example does that show to any other young lads brought in and doing a great job for the team ?
As for wages the club and players/agents negotiate so you could say each player is being paid what he deserves/negotiated and in a game where players can rapidly improve or decline then how much a player is being paid is not always an accurate reflection of his true value to the team at the current time or indeed in the future.
