Not me, i always questioned giving a three year contract to a winger when we had mcg, mcintosh and the two seniors. Without knowing mcintosh going to FB it meant 3 good cheapish prospects would not get a game and would leave (crystal ball did not show injuries)

Sorry to bring up this long standing subject again but it is being reported in the Australian Daily Telegraph (approx. 1 hour ago) that he is leaving Canberra and signing with us with immediate effect!

We would need a NF trained spot to be made available.

As I have said before don't think Frawley is coming back from Oz. However if you could enlighten me Jools on whether Sezer , having a Turkish father & having played for Turkey in 2018, qualifies under "non NF trained spot" or whatever its called. Cheers

Does the article actually say it is with us or another SL side? Paywall for the telegraph so can’t see and I know HKR are in the lookout for a half as well?!

I can't get onto the article either but on a headline for it I found, it does actually state Huddersfield.

He would definitely class a non Federation trained player as he played his academy years in Aus. As for whether he fills an overseas quota spot The EU don’t have a free movement of people agreement with Turkey but I’m not sure of the legalities of the association agreement the EU has with Turkey so cannot say for sure. Someone else may know.

Just had a nosy on the Salford forum
Saw this regarding a quote made by a Salford director on the rugby league article “Paul King spoke at the Supporters Trust event last night. He said they are definitely not on for Keinhorst and he has no idea where the story came from and the first he heard of it was in the league express article. He also said “as for the other player named in the article - no comment”.
So that sounds like Salford are interested in Seb- which would free up a quota spot......

He has been offered to every super league club Jools, Salford look to be the club interested now - He was offered to Wakefield, with Hudds still paying 40% of his wages for next season but I think even with paying the 60% he was still out of the price range we would have taken him at.

Not sure if Salford have negotiated the % further but I know Hudds are desperate to get him off the cap and quota and it now looks more than likely to be to make way for Sezer.
