Kids are only free if they hold a season ticket for their own club !!!

Unfortunately, due to other family commitments earlier in the year, my nephews do not have Wakefield season tickets this season !!!

Sadly FIL refers to us on the wakey forum as 'Shuddersfield' so he is one of those wakey fans who needs to refer to us in this juvenile way.

He is so slow that when told the club have a different view he assumes he is being called a liar (I wonder why?!)

He seems surprised that people who qualify for a concession could be employed in some role within the emergency services!

Also the idea that someone in the emergency services could get lots of cheap tickets for any tom, dick or harry goes against the spirit of the offer.

If a member of the emergency services flaps this much over a small ticket issue...who knows what would happen in a crisis.

Not heard of friendly banter then ...surely that's what RL forums are all about, or maybe the Whino's and Dull's fans would disagree ??

I did not wish to abuse the spirit of the offer and purchase tickets for my Uncle's Tom , Dick and Harry (they all went to the pub instead )...if I was so inclined, then surely I would have just turned up on match day, demanded 50 tickets and then sold them on to paying fans for a handsome profit !!!

Wrong , at our club they are free whoever you support - maybe you could ask the club to refund you there's too as you didnt know this

So there was a mix up over tickets and the club offered you compensation which you refused. Where's the poor service? The club didn't have to offer you compensation since you have nothing to substantiate your claims and their employee gives a different version of events. You bought the tickets at the price quoted thereby denoting acceptance of the value of the tickets. As long as you were informed of the correct price at the point of sale then the club has discharged it's duty.
