It's a CC semi final. Saints' SHOULD be fired up.

Turning this testicle brained farse of a thread on it's head, what if Mason has been instructed to make these statements by Brown, knowing that it will fire the Saints players up? What if Brown's telling his players to expect Saints at their very best because they'll be upset, and that it will take every last ounce of this, that and the other to win the day?

What if Mason wants to smash Paul Wellens in an act of revenge for beating him in a game of tiddlywinks when he moved to Saints from the NRL, while he was still jetlagged? This could be..... poisonal!

Why cant they just go about their preparations quietly and effectively ?

at least they gob off about what they are achieving now not what they did 20 years ago

Believe me Saints will definitely be fired up anyway. Just the comments from Mase will increase the determination a notch or two further. Just my opinion. On the international scene I think he will also have increased the determination of Morley & Peacock to remain in the England team.

They're hardly professional players if they don't already have that determination

Can't blame him for confidence against Saint's forwards at the moment, if Faasavalu/Cayless/Hargreaves were fit he probably wouldn't be so sure.

James Graham will still be a huge problem for him though, regardless of the lack of other props.
