Doesn't sound like sound business sense to me ,I'm sorry to say ! Paying a players wages to play for your rivals? Uuuum! Must be other matters to take into account like badly wanting rid? - but the logic is still baffling after the one year contract extension

The 1 year extension was the bad business, paying part of his wages is damage limitation. Still glad we have got out of paying the full contract next year for a 36 year old, still Wakefield felt he was worth two so .. good luck!
