Your team that year was excellent. Me and my dad had a discussion the other day about our promotion winning side and whether they were the best team that division has seen since Super League began. The only other team we could think of was Huddersfield.

Huddersfield 2002 vs Hull KR 2006 would definitely be an interesting game!

It would indeed, I think that Huddersfield set the benchmark for teams wanting to win that division and showed what sort of attitude it took to win promotion, not just on the field but off it too.

All serious contenders after that maintained full time squads I think
