The problem is he is not ready to be a starting prop and comes behind the likes of Faalogo and Gilmour in the second row.

I prefer to see him off the bench as an interchange forward but he is competing with Eorl and patrick there .I would like to see all three of these on the bench with a hooker.


100% effort every game and a tackling machine but as the team has improved you need a bit more than that to be certain of a starting place.

We will just have to wait and see what happens when we have afull team.

difficult how to see Raleigh at the minute. More than a squad player but not in the starting 13 either.

I need to ask though, I'm not trying to blow smoke up Andy Raleigh's jaxxi, but his tackling is consistent and generally above average, his runs are consistent and he generally takes 2-4 men with him in tackles and makes the metres.
Player of the year 2008 as well.

What does he have to do to get any appraisal for what he has achieved from the fans point of view?

I think he has been up in the top 5 players this season. Really impressive!

Do you mean 'praise' rather than 'appraisal'?
stella gave a pretty good appraisal of Andy's qualities earlier in the thread. As for praise: Andy's a quality player. Like you said, a 100%er. But he's not the best 2nd rower at the Giants, never mind in the country.
