its the last first grade game to be played at the old ground this friday, if you were a saints fan would you prefer fartown , or to beat bitter rivals wigan in the last game?the old sports romantic in me says i would prefer wigan just to live in the memory forever lol.. as long as they win..

it makes no diffrence to us who we play saints or leeds as both will be tough games but if we do play saints on friday then our fans should go there in numbers to see the dump for one last time

As a Saints fan I can't see why we would pick anyone other than Huddersfield.

Any sentiment needs to go out of the window and we need to pick the team which we are most likely to beat. Whoever we play is going to be a tough game but in a choice between the team that finished 1st and the one that finished 5th the team in 5th has to be the logical choice.

The club call system is ridiculous, we should automatically be playing the lowest ranked team left in the competition without the daftness of us being able to pick who we play.

If you chosse us which I would expect, the coaching staff and players will use it as an extr incentive to perform on the night.

In a way I think having the choice is a chore rather than a benefit.

Looks like we play on Friday night if Saints pick us, although that would mean Rhino's play Sat 5.15 at Headingley, are they likely to switch these, given Lds Utd, play Sheff U at 3pm?

It will be a great honour for us to be CHOSEN as the last team to play a competitive game at Knowsley Road. Who'd have thought that would happen 10 years ago.

Very true, Huddersfield have come so far in the last 5 years and I hope you go to Knowsley Road and beat them and get to the GF, you deserve it for the last few years hard work. (But then get beat off Wigan )
