This game in particular looks like it will be won in the forwards, so I think the bench will reflect this. Watto has said he's confident we can win such a battle and I would be too, if we'd have had a decent hit out last week. The combination of our free week and the strange team selections for the friendlies, leaves me just a little apprehensive. Price before Russell for me and Connor back for Wigan / Saints in March if all goes well it's been reported..
No Jake Connor ? Strange that considering he would be ready for first game.
He can't be back until April can he? That's when the six months your lot said he would be out for (minimum) is up. As far as i am aware we have always said he will be in contention from round 3.

Just looking for a good performance, good teams know nothing is won in round 1, Leeds and Wigan won't be worried at all that they lost last week, all that you need to do in the regular season is win enough games to make the playoff's and gain momentum near the back end of the season. It is the lowly teams that are desperate to get wins on the board early doors. Warrington were really hungry last week because they were so dire last year, they wanted it way way more than Leeds did. Will be good to see how the new players gell, but win or lose we shouldn't be worried at this stage, although we probably will be because we don;t have the confidence of a Saints, Wigan or Leeds that all will come good later on

Wire won their first 3 games last year and were top of the league! So I guess that does prove your point that the early games don't matter
